Ariel is just as addicted to Polyvore as I am…. and how funny she created a Moustache collage since I also made one in December!

Another of Ariel’s creations on Polyvore. She titled this one “Ariel’s Dream Wardrobe.” Hmmmm. Think that’s a hint?
(And you know, I thought that rainbow cheetah print looked familiar so I looked back. It is almost exactly the same as her messenger bag from two years ago!! Check it out here.)

One of our favorite hair product companies, scünci, has introduced a new product–Hair Chalk–and sent a package for Ariel and me to try out! **squeee** The scünci Hair Chalk is available in dual packs of coral/purple or pink/turquoise.
We were so excited to receive the coral/purple and couldn’t wait to try it!!
It only took a quick minute to open the package….
and then the fun began!
We did take the time to read the instructions before we started, because I’m a goober about those things.
And it’s a good thing we did. There was a note for brunettes:
Ariel’s blessed with beautiful brunette hair so I knew we would need that tip. Because she really wanted intense color!
Here are her bangs after my first swipe at them with the coral chalk:
Yes, we certainly needed to use some hair spray. The hair spray made the chalk stick more to her hair. (I think I pulled a little too hard and caused some of the chalk to crumble slightly… oops. User error!)
As you can see here, the color did intensify.
And when we went outside, the color was even stronger!
She loved it!!
And true to their word, it washed out quite easily. (Ariel would have preferred that it hadn’t, of course!) And the bits and pieces of chalk dust washed away without any problem. I was kind of worried about it, but I needn’t have stressed.
Definitely a product we are in love with and will be using multiple times! We barely used any of the chalk during our application, so we can do this lots more.

Ariel took a spin on Polyvore and created this Clemson University-inspired masterpiece. What do you think?

Yes, we did refer to this special day in last Saturday’s Stylin’ & Profilin’ post, but we just don’t think you can feature cute PJs too much!!

Oh, yes, Spring is HERE!! Finally, the weather and the flowers (and, umm, the pollen!) have arrived…. along with Ariel’s Spring Break!
We are going to have a lot of fun this coming week, hanging out and doing a lot just a tad of spring cleaning. We do have a few projects we’re working on to show you. I’m telling you that so you’ll hold us accountable, okay?
I swear, Polyvore is almost as addictive as Pinterest. I went to peek around at sandals for spring…. and ended up falling in love with this collection from Betsey Johnson!! Pretty, eh?

It is quite appropriate that Stylin’ & Profilin’ Saturday is also National Barbie Day! YES! Mattel introduced Barbara Millicent Roberts to the world on March 9, 1959, and America’s favorite doll has introduced fashion (and the frustration of crazy clothes closures) to millions of girls since then.
Over the years, many different dolls have been introduced, including friends and family members for Barbie. I thoroughly enjoyed perusing MSN Living’s pictorial of Barbie though the years and LOLed at The 10 Strangest Barbies Ever Made over at TheFW.
I’ll always remember my Barbie Dream House that Santa brought one year and the bits and pieces of furniture that survived have now become part of the collection Ariel calls her own.
And we were huge fans of the Barbie movies. We even attended a special preview party for Barbie as the Island Princess! I’ll have to see if I can dig up some photos from the event. We had so much fun!
I know I may have mentioned my love of this song before, but truly it is one of my favorites. Love the theme from Barbie in the 12 Dancing Princesses!
