Okay, so that is the formal, I-gotta-cover-my-backside legal talk.
Here’s what the above said in Paula-talk:
I will always tell you the truth. I was raised in a good Southern home (yes, ma’am!) and know that while honesty is the best policy, if you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all. So with reviews, if you read something here about a product, please know that I adore it. Life is too short to talk about things we don’t like, agreed?
I only review things that my family uses. Most of the time, these are things I have paid for and not received for free. There will be times when a company has sent me an item to review, and I will review it. I will always tell you if it was a freebie and I will always tell you exactly what I think of it. My words and opinions cannot be bought. I do accept advertising on my blog, but those paid ads don’t affect what I say, if anything, about those products.
I do belong to a couple of advertising networks, through which I am able to pick and choose which ads to display on my blog. I only pick ads for products I have or will use and can wholeheartedly recommend. I have high standards for my family and my blog. I hope that my high standards will create an atmosphere of trust for you, my reader, so that you know that when you’re here, you’re a valued member of my family.
Oh, those ads on the side and in the text? (Amazon, VistaPrint, Chili’s, just to name a few) I do get a very small commission from them when you click on them. It doesn’t amount to much. If you choose to click on them and buy something, I may earn the equivalent of a virtual cup of tea…. but it won’t cost you any more. That’s what is called affiliate marketing and it’s how I pay some of the blogging bills around here. So, if you see something you want to buy, please click and buy. That is super-nice of you, but not expected. I just want you to enjoy your time here. Relax, put up your feet, and enjoy.
I’m glad you’re here!
