It has been said many times but it cannot be said enough. Always aim for self-improvement. Aim to be a better person to yourself and to others. No one knows yourself better and each person is different so the only benchmark you can have for yourself is yourself.
That last sentence is so powerful! Try to be better than yourself. I am competitive and love to challenge myself in order to improve myself.
People always try to compete with others to show they’re better- this is good- be better than yourself, be a better you.
